Cooking food from my country Sri Lanka is very challenging because people in Iowa are not used to Southeastern spices, so I gave up on cooking Sri Lankan food for customers. For one of our Christmas banquets, I fixed a soup from my homeland and I called it "Curry Flavored Vegetable Soup".
Everyone loved it and asked me to put it on the menu! Here it is!!! If no one orders this soup, I swear I will take it off the menu . . . .
